Rhubin- Eye Troubles

Rhubin had a trip to the doctor! (no suprise, right?) Rhubin woke up and said his eye was bothering him, JoLynn found a hair in it and took it out, he went off to work, about 2 hours after being at work, his eye was swollen and watering and he could not function. He went to the doctor only to find out he had a piece of metal embedded in his eye, and it was also scratching his eyelid. After some intense work of the doctor they were able to get it out, they told him he was going to be sore for a few days, and that there was a flap that needed to heal. He ended up at home the rest of the day. He attempted to go to work on Tuesday, that did not work, so 2 days in bed with his eyes closed and ointment in it 5 times a day, he finally was getting back to normal. Saturday, March 24th, he went back for a re evaluation, he is healing up nicely. Yahoo!!!

Rhubin-a drill out of control!

Today Rhubin was called out to a side job to help get some power restored. he was working on the panel and his drill flipped around and nailed his left pinky finger. He is not sure if it was the drill bit or a piece of metal that cut him. It was a bleeder!!! He nailed it to the knuckle. He had a good flap of skin hanging on. Funny thing, we go to the doctor, the same one that stiched Payton up 5 days ago. He wanted to know if he was stripping wire too, Rhubin said no, I was using a power drill! Rhubin's wound was alot worse that Payton. So in the first week of the year, we have been to the doctor twice for stitches!!!

Noah- Wisdom teeth out!

Noah got his wisdom teeth out today. He had 6 teeth taken out. He had 2 extra teeth. This picture is taken a couple of days after, he is pretty swollen and sore. He calls himself a chipmunk! He has done well with keeping hydrated. I think he will be glad when he is back to himself.

Payton-a trip to the doctor

Payton has been helping Rhubin strip wire to take to the recycling plant. He has stripped about 43 pounds. (you get a $1 more a pound if it is stripped) Well Monday night, Payton was stripping the wire and Mom was cooking dinner, all of a sudden, Mom heard a scream and went to see Payton pinching his leg with blood coming out. He was using a razor knife and his hand slipped and he cut his left thigh open. We rushed to the doctor and got his stitched up. He had to have two layers of stitches. He did a nice clean straight cut. He is bruised but he should have a good recovery!
