Willy-update

Willy is doing amazing!  He is really enjoying the area and his companion.  He said that he has done some wiring and hanging some sheet rock.  Their light in their apartment exploded and embedded parts of the glass in the ceiling.  They are continuing to do alot of service.  He says that they do not get fed like they have in the past areas, (which shows in his bank account).  They got a new Mission President.  He is doing well and happy with his choice to servce a mission.

Grand Targhee

After picking up the boys from Cedar Badge, we were so close to Grand Targhee that we went and rode the ski lift up to the top.  What a great picture with the Tetons behind us.  Payton and Rhubin were unsure of the whole ride, they are not a fan of heights.  Good times!!!!

Cedar Badge is over!

Noah and Payton were happy to their parents.  They had a good time.  They learned lots of leadership skills and made alot of new friends.  Payton's camp had a bear so they had to move their camp into a lodge.  That was a bit scary, but overcame the ordeal and had a good time.  Noah loved all the Varsity outings and things  that they did.  Payton got to carry a flag for the closing ceremony.  The flags of freedom presentation is awesome!!!  The boys were happy to be home in their own beds and have a hot shower!

Happy Anniversary!!!!

June 23rd is our Anniversary!!!  This year we celebrate 17 years!!!!  We did not have any kids at home on Friday the 22nd. So rather than go out for an expensive dinner, I did a nice red neck dinner at home.  I set up the camping table in the living room, we had paper plates, plastic silverware.  I even used paper towels for napkins!  I made all of Rhubin's favorites.  Our menu was Shake and bake pork chops, french fries, corn.  Then we had ice cream and sugar cookies for dessert.  We had a nice evening, and the clean up was easy!!!  It was awesome!!!  I love ya babe!

Willy-update

We got a great, short and sweet letter today.  He is doing awesome, they are doing lots of service and he loves that kind of stuff.  They are staying busy with lots of different projects.  He did say a pair of his pants ripped so emailed The Missionary Mall and they are sending a replacement pair to us and then we will ship it to him.  He said send the box you have about ready to go and then when my pants get there send me a another box.  I like packages......He is very happy and doing well!!

Noah-Cedar Badge

Noah and his pack ready to go!!! Noah was excited to go, he was worried when he left about his brother, Payton.  Corrington's picked up Noah and Payton came later.

Cedar Badge

Payton and Noah are headed to Treasure Mountain for a week for Cedar Badge.  This is Noah's second time, and Payton's first time.  This is also Payton's first time away from home for more than one night!  They were anxious to go and and learn.  They are gone for a week.  Saturday is graduation ceremony and we will be there and then bring them home.  This is a awesome experience for both of them, they will get lots of leadership skills.  Have a great time boys!!!!

Payton-Cedar Badge

Payton is ready for Cedar Badge, he was nervous about being gone from home, but with Noah there he would be ok and have a good time.   Payton had a rough night and
we ended up in the ER with croup, he was not able to go with Noah, but Rhubin drove him up later to join the group.  He is doing much better since a couple of breathing treatments.   We were glad that he was able to make it a nd go and not miss out.
